Move away, dalgona coffee. It is time for this cute (and yummy) ‘egg coffee’ to shine!
While some people Netflix their time away during this pandemic, there are many others who spent long hours in the kitchen experimenting new recipes. One of them includes RED user Bonzai Sister who came up with an interesting ‘egg coffee’ recipe.

It might seem weird to add an egg on your coffee but hey, don’t let its appearance fool or shoo you away. Scroll along to find out how to recreate it during this circuit breaker!
Ingredients you’ll need
- Instant coffee – 17g
- Hot water – 60g
- Whipped cream – 60g
- White sugar – 6g
- Milk
- Mango puree
- Ice
- Cocoa powder
The recipe

Step 1: Add sugar into whipped cream and whisk until soft peaks form.
Step 2: Add hot water onto instant coffee powder.
Step 3: Fill glass with ice and add milk till it reaches the 3/4 mark.
Step 4: Pour instant coffee into the glass.
Step 5: Fill the remaining 1/4 of the glass with whipped cream.
Step 6: Add cocoa powder on whipped cream.

Step 7: Layer a spoon of whipped cream on the surface of cocoa powder to form the ‘egg white’
Step 7: Add a teaspoon of mango puree on the whipped cream to complete the ‘egg’
