Ladies, ever bought a cute new pair of jeans but wish you could make your butt perkier? Simply follow these exercises to get the dream butt you’ve always dreamed of!
Spread your feet shoulder-width apart, keep your core tight and move your lower body as if you’re taking a seat on an imaginary chair. Make sure that your body is positioned in a 90-degree angle and take care not to let your knees go past your feet. Do three sets of ten reps
Tip: If you feel unstable, hold your arms up in front of you for extra stability.
2. Donkey kicks
Get a mat and position yourself on all fours, stacked directly under your shoulders and knees slightly under hips. Keep your back flat, and lower belly tight. Start by lifting one leg up in a 90-degree bend and lift your leg upwards to the ceiling. Do three sets of ten reps per leg.
Tip: Try not to arch your back too much when doing donkey kicks to avoid hurting your back.
Stand upright and take one step forward with your left leg. Bend both knees so that your right knee hovers just above the ground and your left thigh is parallel to the ground. Then, using your left leg, push yourself back so that you are standing straight again. Do three sets of ten reps per leg.
Tip: Use weights if you find this exercise too easy.
4. Butt bridges
Get on your back and place your arms down by your sides. Bend your knees and plant your feet firmly on the floor. Keep your core tight and then squeeze your glutes to press your hips up so your body forms a straight line from your knees to your shoulders.Hold the position for five seconds, slowly lower your body and lift up again. Do three sets of ten reps.
Do these exercises at least 4 times a week for a month to start seeing results! Remember to hydrate yourself and eat healthily!
