Liam Gallagher’s Last Attempt To Reconcile With Noel

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is done extending “olive branch” to his estranged brother and ex-bandmate, Noel.

Speaking to Nihal Arthanayake on BBC Radio 5 Live ahead of the release of his second album earlier this week, Liam said he is the happiest he had been in a very long time, and everything is good. Except for “the only spanner in the works is you know who”, referring to his brother Noel.

When asked if the feud between him and Noel upset their mum, Liam said: “Yeah, course man, but that’s life isn’t it, I guess.” The ever outspoken, not one that’s afraid to express his opinions, and always lashing out at Noel, Liam could not resist giving a snide remark that: “There’s always one bad egg in the family.”

Insisting that he has reached out to resolve their infamous feud since the band broke up in 2009, it’s up to Noel now to make the next move – “there’s only so many olive branches you can give someone without going, ‘I don’t think he really cares any more’, but that’s life, we’ll see how it ends up.”

“There will be war”, Liam continued if something happens to their mom and they have not reconciled by then, “because there’s been so many opportunities on his behalf.”

When asked if his new single One of Us is an olive branch to his brother, Liam answered: “Yeah course man, but that’s the last one, there’ll be no more.”
Liam went on and said that a great deal of things in the album can be related to Noel as he has played a big part in his life.
Liam also confessed that he missed having a banter, laughs, and of course being in a band and having a crack with Noel.
